    Job Summary


    Designs, analyzes, maintains and implements Information Technology equipment, network and systems.


    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Manage the IT system infrastructure and related processes.
    2. Participate in the planning and implementation of processes, policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning, monitoring, maintenance and documentation is consistent with the company goals, business requirements and industry best practices.
    3. Provide support to (IT) systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
    4. Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
    5. Provide technical support, diagnosis and resolutions for system and user issues. Define user needs and recommend alternatives.
    6. Configure and manage Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
    7. Monitor servers, applications and services using a combination of tools to ensure high availability. 8. Identify and resolve hardware and software problems.


    Job Qualifications


    Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information services or related field or equivalent work experience.



    • Three years' experience in a system administrator role.


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
    • Advanced ability to utilize various computer software programs and operating systems.
    • Strong problem resolution skills with ability to identify, diagnose and implement solutions.
    • Ability to speak, read and write English.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and vendors, one-on-one or in groups.
    • Advanced ability to read, write and interpret technical and legal documents; advanced ability to understand, analyze, and interpret reports and effect corrective action.
    • Ability and willingness to work constructively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Ability to effectively and professionally function in a team environment.
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
    • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects/tasks/initiatives simultaneously.
    • Ability to function independently, have flexibility and personal integrity.


    Additional Work Requirements

    • Local and state-wide travel may be required.

    • Hand and finger dexterity.
    • Hand-eye coordination.
    • May lift equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel.
    • May sit at workstation for extended periods with continual concentration.
    • Ability to cope with stress brought on by meeting deadlines and standards, uneven work flow and changing priorities.
