Clinical Services SUD Manager

 

This newly-available role manages and directs SUD and Behavioral Health Programs. Some duties are to maintain current knowledge of, plan, implement, and provide on-going evaluation of Behavioral Health Services in accordance with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards under the direction of the Director; develop and oversee budgets for programs; identify community needs and work in partnership with the Director and VP to grow services; assist director in establishing, monitoring and implementing measurements and processes to assure quality improvement outcome monitors related to service delivery; provide direction and support for team leads and supervisors; develop and support community partnerships with potential referral sources and other behavioral health funders.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Maintain current knowledge of, plan, implement, and provide on-going evaluation of Behavioral Health Services in accordance with regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards under the direction of the Director.
  2. Develop and oversee budgets for programs
  3. Identify community needs and work in partnership with the Director and VP to grow services.
  4. Assist director in establishing, monitoring and implementing measurements and processes to assure quality improvement outcome monitors related to service delivery.
  5. Provide direction and support for team leads and supervisors
  6. Develop and support community partnerships with potential referral sources and other behavioral health funders.
  7. Assist supervisors Audit records for accuracy and completeness; establish and maintain personal record files for each clients.
  8. Provide on-going leadership to staff. Participate in recruitment and retention efforts, including, interviewing and hiring. Assist in preparation and implementation of staff performance management including professional development, coaching, and counseling.
  9. Assist the Director in preparation of annual operating budget and recommendations for capital expenditures. Manage assignments to meet budgetary limits. Serve as acting Director when required.
  10. Responsible for quality assurance compliance, including but not limited to participating in peer supervision, peer utilization reviews, compliance with service delivery criteria and reporting requirements for each individual served.
  11. Professional Growth
    a. Keep informed of current SUD community treatment program developments and activities
    b. Utilize educational opportunities and resources offered by the agency and through the profession for continued development of skills and clinical expertise, (conferences, Trainings, etc.) c. Use the knowledge and skills of his/her supervisor to increase understanding of treatment programming and to further professional development.

Job Qualifications

 

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification

 

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field, from an accredited institution

 

Experience

 

  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with SUD and/or MH clientele preferred
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team
  • Minimum of two years of experience in staff supervision preferred

Additional Work Requirements

 

  • Valid unrestricted driver's license with good driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
